together in glass

Today my art class teacher took us to an art gallery. And this is what we saw... A really really beautiful peaces of work by Mark Eckstrand and Jekaterina Ivanova - Ostapenko.
Glass artist Mark Eckstrand recreates the undersea world in his hand-blown glass sculptures.  His vases resemble an aquarium complete with the ocean floor, plants, coral, mollusks, anemones and fish.  The deep, rich colors of the undersea world are captured in these magnificent pieces of art.
Ekaterina Ivanova - Ostapenko came to glass art in the world gradually. Initially, she created poetry, and then took the graphics that illustrate her poems. Currently she is working in the Moscow zoo, where she is in charge of artwork and design department. Since 1995 showed her work in exhibitions in Russia and 35 foreign countries.

P.S. - I took the pictures with my phone so they are not the best they could be, but you get the idea. :)
